Freelance fashion and beauty writer, aspiring jet-setter:
  While getting her degree from John Hopkins, Caren dreamt about doing something more fun and exciting with her life. In her eyes, the fashion industry was the pinnacle of excitement and glamour, and she was determined to experience it. She put law school plans on hold, connected with her inner fashionista and moved to New York to pursue a fashion merchandising degree from FIT. While in school, she began working as an assistant for a furniture designer with an extensive roster of celebrity and fashion clients. She began freelance writing when a family friend enlisted her to report on NYC’s fashion week for a South Carolina magazine without the resources to send their own reporter to New York. Extremely enthusiastic about her newfound career, she now seeks to fulfill her second dream of traveling the world.
