There aren’t many charities in the world which directly helps people. This is one of them.

As a daughter who’s Father died while waiting for a kidney, I can truly relate to their love for their father and love for people. So many people are waiting for kidney donations. The sad part is, most people believe it’s only for adults. there are children waiting as well.

Sadly, the numbers keep going up. But we are indeed greatful for having  two human beings like the Flood sisters that want to cut the numbers down. and hopefully no numbers at all.

I loved working with these sisters, and enjoyed the designers showing their clothing. They took the time out of their busy lives to help them. But more importantly, these designers touched everyone hearts. They just don’t say, their giving back. They honestly do.

The designers at the show were:   Jason Christopher Peters, Brooke Tassoul, Diane Adams, and Elene Cassis. Models were from the agencies: The Felton Group and Major Models.

This charity is worth looking into. It’s not for people of big business but for people with big hearts.

Now that fashion week is over and we got a chance to breathe, well… sort of Bridal week has started. After bridal week comes the red carpet events. Oh did I say we got a chance to breathe? Nope. That was a lie.

Rachellee, a talented stylist and writer will be presenting her stories in this magazine. She styled me for Sherry Hill’s fashion show in Jonano. It’s a beautiful black cocktail dress with flatters your figure. I wanted to take the dress home and keep it for myself. But that’s Jonano clothing line! Lots of eye popping flattering designs.

Bridal week is fun. You get to play dress up like you did when you were a little girl. Instead of using your sheets as a gown you get to try on and wear lovely gowns. Each one more beautiful than the next. Lots of showrooms and small intmate shows. Champaine and cake…

Back to NYC to the City that never sleeps and neither do I.  And…… I LOVE it!!!

The GBK Lounge was a great opportunity to see new fashion, accessories and beauty products.  Guests could also relax for a while on the much appreciated sofas and chairs placed throughout the space.  Check out the Beauty page for reviews of some of the great products featured at GBK.

Nautica can always be counted on to produce classic wearable all-American sportswear.  The brand sticks close to its nautical roots for this collection.  One can easily imagine any one of these looks upon someone on a jaunty weekend yacht cruise or even the serious sailing aficionado.  He can battle the elements in the all weather jackets and sailor striped shirts and hoodies, but still be the perfect gentleman in a blazer, slacks and button down for dinner at the yacht club.—C.Kong

The boys of Buckler literally prowled the streets of the Meatpacking District showcasing the collection’s casually hip clothes, quirky eye wear and functionally fashionable man bags.  Buckler knows what its customers want.   Clothes that are innately cool, without trying to be; clothes in the downtown set’s preferred hues of black, white, navy and gray.  Whether its the cuffed pants, tunic hoodies or shirts with seemingly their own built-in pair of suspenders, the collection manages to balance it’s cool with a bit of fun.—C.Kong
