Yes people yes yes….. we have a video right on the front page!!!!!! This year I or Caren will be taking videos of fashion shows and events. Also being the host of a fashion show you will see me in action more often.

Now let get to the TV reality show. There is no question as everyone who knows me, I LIKE BRAVO. They to me have come a long way and I was with them from the start. I love Top Chef to Launch My Line. Patrick darling…. I was rooting for you. I wish you the very best on starting your line.. See you at fashion week….

It was also great to see the twins hosting. They are very talented designers and I’m glad to see them back in the limelight. I think the ten people who they have selected are very creative. Of the three that are left, I’m cheering for the woman who makes clothes that can be used different ways. You know, the one who almost got voted off last night? Whew! But secretly I had a feeling she wasn’t going.

Kelly !!!! Girlfriend … what can I say? Your on Bravo now. Well…… you are, ( in my opinion) working with one of the best networks, Seriously. I also wish her the best.

End Of The Year Blues…

Ok.. like… I’m not on dial up anymore. Yes! I’m updated! gasp! I now deal with “The Slowskys, DSL. I like turtles. I’ve had a few as pets when I was coming up.
Now I have to get use to this thing. I had aol 9 optomizer and I miss my links and drafts, and Native music, and my Buddy links up, and and and.. whew! I have to find someone who knows how to put everything back. Yarn…darn.
HEYYYYYYYY WE ARE BACK IN BRYANT PARK!
Sorry… I had to shout that. I really and truly didn’t want to go to Lincoln Center. My hotel isn’t that far from the park and everything else is so right there for me.
Personally, I’m glad this year is almost over. It’s been a bad year for so many people with me right along traveling with the horse heard heading toward a clift. But I turned at the last minute.
Sigh…

MB Fashion Week 2010

Ok.. Ok… How many shows did we go to? I forgot. But we did a lot of walking! Most of the show were outside of the tents. Boy did I get fit!

Who has time to Twitter? I certainly didn’t. So much to see and cover.

First and foremost I would like to thank the HauteLook lounge for their hospitality. They had Sony Style VAIO laptops for us to use. So we could keep up with our e-mails. They gave us continental breakfast and lunch which was served daily. Mix cocktails after 4 and daily giveaways. They also had Alvin Valley come in and show his men’s clothing line. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward seeing them again.

I also would like to thank Factory PR, for inviting us to a taping of the Marc Bouwer and Lydia Hearst “runway show” during which all the elements present at your typical Fashion Week runway show did take place – backstage commotion, hair and make-up, light and sound testing and designer interviews. It was a pleasure meeting both of them.

Also The Daily Suite took excellent care of us. I got a manicure from the best, Myrdith Leon- McCormack. She did work for Elle, Bazaar, to name a few. Right now as we speak, she is in London for their fashion week. We ate and had cocktails in the suite. We got to see my favorite, Bag Trends!!!!!

Then there is Bj Coleman shows! The Coleman Entertainment Group is now working with Nolcha & Nolcha Fashion Week.This is their third year, Nolcha Fashion Week took place simultaneously with New York Fashion week.

It was held at the iconic Bohemian National Hall in association with Czech Republic Consulate General. Inside, runway shows, accessory exhibits, cocktail parties and fashion business seminars to showed American and international fashion designers. The clothing was fierce! I made sure of the four designers I saw, I posted their clothing.

Guess what everyone?? I’m now the host and spokes model for Fashion In Action! Stan Lowe asked me to host his TV show and last week I interviewed three designers. The show will be presented as a part of this site!

Ok, so I’ve been away right? But have you check out the pix my webmaster put up? This fashion week kept you in shape. With money hard to come by, many designers had there show in a showroom or at their place. Caren and I must have ran 30 miles that week. Between SoHo, and the Meatpacking district then back to the tents. This year was great! Got to meet some new people and see my old friends. Also out of 30 shows, I had front row with the execption of 3. I think I’m moving up from the D List to the CList. I also was interviewed by the famous Cognac. She appeareded in The Devil Wears Prada, and The Housewives of New York City. I also did an interview for Helen Yarmak fur fashions. Who are on the front cover.

So how was everyone elses fashion week?

We have been told by the promoter, that show has been cancled. We can only speculate with the falling Wall Street and other issues. But if any changes happen rest assure you will be notified right here!

ENK Menswear Shows

The ENK Menswear shows are here in NYC to give fashion junkies a well-needed fix before September. Held at Pier 92, the shows as well as the trade show will feature new looks and trends in the menswear industry. What is everyone else’s thoughts on menswear shows? I like them for the eye-candy. To be honest, it is rare that I see anything really unusual or unique. Details, designs and modifications are more subtle for guys. Menswear tends to not push the limits the way womenswear can. But if a designer does produce very avant guarde menswear, it is destined for show only because production of it would only result in the garments languishing unsold on shelves and racks. In all fairness to the industry, the consumer has to change before the product can change to meet his needs.

It’s that time of year again and I couldn’t wait to go. Vendors were out in full force. I was dancing and the regalia which everyone wore were beautiful.

I have another powow to attend in another state. I will be posting pictures around July. I have been busy with legal issues and Native Rights I haven’t had time to breathe.

Time To Plant and…

In between modeling for Yukiko and getting ready for Florida, I had to get my garden together. I’ve been planted and canning my own veggies and fruit since I was young and now that food prices have gone up, it’s worked to my favior. I worked on my yard, my neighbor’s yard and my mothers. We all have veggies and also flowers.

I’ve already started my process of getting my passport. So I can go to Japan. And perhaps other places I might be sent to. Yukiko sent me a beautiful package from Japan! She gave Caren and I a tee shirt that she personally designed. Also she gave me Japanese sweets and tea!

Caren and I are also working on going to Texas. It seems they have started a fashion week down there and we were invited by the “owners” to come down and cover some of the fashion events. Also to help out! I will be modeling…
