It’s that time again everyone. This year many of the shows were all around town than in the tents. Caren and I were running around all over. Then there was Fashion Night Out which was a total FAB! I stayed in the meat packing section. And went to Lu’s event. Yes, people I have a few pix from it!
- Marc Bouwer and Lydia Hearst: Marc Bouwer shoots Lydia Hearst for Spring 2010 Virtual Show. It was wonderful. I loved the way they took shots in front of the mirror.
- Davidelfin: Cool clothes to make us feel like we are in the tropics
- Ports 1961: Great as usual. I never expected anything less from them…
- Rosa Cha: used Jaslene. Nuff said!
- Arise African Promise Collective: What can I say? This year is was packed and they gave me the best seats in the house. Lots of new creative looks.
- Venexiana: was best in show on Friday. Hands down!
- Lacoste: always have ready to wear. The colors were “tennis happy.”
- Christian Siriano: was best in show on Saturday. He received a well deserved standing ovation.
- Can’t miss Lela Rose and Thuy in the tents, while Toni Maticevski wowed them at the Altman Building.
- Malan Breton!!!!!! People fought for seats at his show. Everyone waiting to see his collection. No one was disappointed. Love the ballet dancers and the strings… oooooooohhhh. I felt like I was in Paris.
- Gottex: bathing suits were hot/cool! I think I wanted to buy 90% of them.
- Nolcha Capsule Runway show: You missed a few of talented designers if you didn’t see that show.
- Tibi: had clothing that were for every person.

Alvin Valley: My first designer who gave me a start and let me be myself. He showed a men’s line in the
Hautelook Lounge held in the Bryant Park Hotel.
Other events we attended:
Helen Yarmack: her summer collection is breath taking.
Hautelook: if you missed coming up to the Bryant Park Hotel lounge then you really missed fashion week.
Victoria Secret: new line of undergarments
We also went to the lounge on 44th street and I received a manicure from Myrdith Leon-Mc Cormack.
